Noel Scullion

Noel Scullion (1957) graduated from NCAD in 1980 and has had a very successful career in the Arts to date, the recipient of many awards and commissions.

“I'm currently living South of Kilcullen Village a field or two away from the Monastic site of Old Kilcullen, where I have my studio and workshop.  The area is steeped in ancient history including Dun Ailinne, all of which feeds my passion for archiology and landscape. I also have a passion for astronomy and nature, a fascination for all things that walk, creep, crawl, slip, slide, swim, fly, grow and die.

Any and all the above influence what I make. I work mostly with stone and wood, with some painting, and lots of drawing. Commissions considered, however I work mostly from the heart”
